The idea of porting games to the Japanese platform originated from the reoccuring reports saying that the Asian gaming market is on the rise.
Bubble Magic 3D that has entertained Facebook users for a long time, and later spread to mobile (iOS), was regarded a perfect candidate for Yahoo! Mobage platform. Localized into Japanese, it is expected to overwhelm players with 3D graphics, original design and overly popular match 3 mechanics.
Yahoo! Mobage is a Japanese platform offering social games for PC browsers. To get access to the service, users should sign up with their Yahoo! Japan IDs on the web portal. The platform has gained much popularity since its launch in late 2010. Last year, it hit 10 million users milestone.
