We’re no fans of numerology, astrology or Feng shui, but our eyes tell us that “8” is a symbol of infinity. No wonder, the 8th annual conference dedicated to casual games had much of the infinite kind in itself.Some representatives of Renatus, acting as Gold Sponsor of the conference, found themselves inside a giddy whirlpool of meetings.
Game developers, publishers and marketing experts took turns to talk with Renatus team,and a lot of promising business ties were established in those days.Other members of Renatus team were lucky to drink from the “well of gaming wisdom”. Specialists of Facebook, Rovio, Game Insight, Big Fish, Gemini Hive, Inc., Marmalade, Flurry, Room 8 and other celebrity companies shared their knowledge with conference guests.
All speeches were categorized into F2P-dedicated sections, sections about mobile and crossplatform games, industry insights, etc., so that every minute was spent wisely.The Round table “Premium vs. Free-to-Play Publishing — Evolution or Revolution?», featuring Ievgen Leonov, was definitely one of the conference highlights. The Marketing Manager for Renatus felt like fish in the water in the company of “bigger fish” – Rovio, Big Fish, DDM and ProSiebenSat1 Group.
Every day Casual Connect gave its guests a treat: awesome, theme parties! Snacks, beverages, nice musical background and contests with valuable presents created friendly atmosphere, encouraging all the party people to make acquaintances, join interesting discussions and develop new ideas.
