DevGAMM Moscow 2015 Organized by Renatus Media, LLC

How does it feel to be the organizing company of the biggest game developer conference in CIS region?

We always knew that DevGAMM would turn into a special event. Each conference proved that we made the right choice in 2013, and this time it exceeded our expectations. DevGAMM became the pumping heart of the industry, uniting people who care about games to the core.
Imagine yourself in the middle of the big buzzing hall packed with great games. As far as the eye can reach there are stands, tables, banners, screens, controllers, coffee mugs and smiling inviting faces. The hall is full of hopes and dreams, inspiration and drive, indie spirit is all around the place. More than 1400 participants, hundreds of games, millions of smiles…
But that’s poetry.

In fact, DevGAMM Moscow 2015 was utterly productive, celebrating game creation and once again making a point about game industry being the most well-rounded community out there. Renatus company had more than 60 meetings with representatives of major game companies and small studios, looking to do business together. Conferences are our best resource in that terms. One could never underestimate the value of personal connections, when a random dinner could change it all.

DevGAMM is also a place where people have fun. To create a holiday spirit Renatus team prepared several contests for the event participants. Besides the traditional Card Raffle, we challenged all attending guys and gals to dig into DevGAMM history and answer tricky questions on Twitter. At the same time those who came up to our table zone were invited to wish something out of the box to DevGAMM & Renatus. People wrote tons of great stuff on that board, while the best lines were rewarded with fancy selfie sticks on stage at the end of the second day.

The glowing moment of DevGAMM has always been Awards ceremony. This year we decided to sponsor a very unusual nomination - Game Lynch Award. If you are not familiar with the concept of Game Lynch show, it’s basically when 6 judges come together to analyze games in a humorous way with some drinking involved. DevGAMM Moscow 2015 held the most hilarious Lynch of them all and the only winner game that withstood Rami Ismail’s attacks was Out There: Omega Edition by Mi-Clos Studio. No one would ever forget the moment when Michael Peiffert told Rami, who recklessly tried to mock the trailer, that what he missed during the lynch was the game itself. The video will soon be available on DevGAMM Youtube channel.
